The BMW K1200LT is a luxurious touring motorcycle that was produced by BMW Motorrad from 1999 to 2009. It was known for its spacious comfort, powerful engine, and advanced technology, making it a popular choice for long-distance riders. The K1200LT was powered by a 1,157 cc (70.7 cu in) liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-valve, horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine, producing 110 hp (82 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 103 Nm (76 lb⋅ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine was mated to a six-speed transmission, and the bike featured a shaft drive.

The K1200LT was designed with comfort in mind, boasting a large, adjustable windshield, heated grips, heated seats, and spacious luggage. It featured a low seat height, making it accessible to riders of various sizes. The motorcycle also came standard with an electronic cruise control system, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and a central locking system. The K1200LT's advanced technology also included a digital instrument panel, a navigation system, and a CD player. The K1200LT was known for its smooth ride and handling, even at high speeds, thanks to its fully adjustable suspension and its aerodynamic design. The motorcycle was available in a variety of colors, including black, silver, blue, and red. Although production of the K1200LT ceased in 2009, it remains a highly sought-after touring motorcycle by riders seeking comfort, power, and luxury on the open road.
