The 1999-2002 Isuzu Trooper, Rodeo, Amigo, Vehicross, and Axiom were a diverse lineup of SUVs and trucks offered by the Japanese automaker Isuzu. These vehicles catered to a wide range of needs, from the rugged capabilities of the Trooper to the compact practicality of the Rodeo and Amigo. The Trooper, a mid-size SUV, was known for its off-road prowess, featuring a durable ladder frame chassis, available four-wheel drive, and a powerful V6 engine. The Rodeo, a compact SUV, provided a balance of on-road comfort and off-road ability, while the Amigo, a smaller SUV, offered economical transportation with some off-road capability. The Vehicross, a unique and sporty SUV, stood out with its distinctive styling and powerful engine, while the Axiom, a compact crossover, aimed to combine car-like handling with SUV versatility.

These vehicles were powered by a variety of engines, including the 3.2-liter V6, the 3.5-liter V6, and the 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine. The Trooper and Vehicross came standard with a four-wheel-drive system, while the Rodeo, Amigo, and Axiom offered both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The models were equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, power windows and locks, and AM/FM radios. While the Trooper and Rodeo saw success in the market, especially for their off-road capabilities and solid reliability, the Vehicross, with its unique styling and high price point, didn't achieve the same level of popularity. Similarly, the Axiom, an early entry into the crossover segment, faced stiff competition from established players. Isuzu's withdrawal from the American market in 2008 marked the end of these models' production, leaving behind a legacy of robust and capable vehicles that remain sought after by enthusiasts.
