Bmw C1/C1 200 Workshop Service Repair Manual
This comprehensive service repair manual provides detailed instructions and illustrations for working on the BMW C1 and C1 200 motorcycles. The manual covers a wide range of maintenance and repair procedures, encompassing everything from routine inspections and adjustments to complex engine overhauls. It is designed for both experienced mechanics and DIY enthusiasts, offering step-by-step guidance for each task. With its detailed diagrams, clear explanations, and thorough coverage, this manual is an essential resource for anyone looking to maintain or repair their BMW C1 or C1 200 motorcycle.

The BMW C1 was a unique and innovative motorcycle that was produced by BMW from 2000 to 2003. Designed as a "scooter with a roof," the C1 aimed to combine the convenience and protection of a scooter with the handling and performance of a motorcycle. Its most distinctive feature was the enclosed canopy, which offered protection from the elements and added to its safety. The C1 featured a 125 cc single-cylinder engine, producing 11 hp and mated to a CVT transmission. This powertrain was sufficient for urban commuting and leisurely rides, achieving a top speed of 60 mph. Its design included a large windshield, a side-mounted engine, and a single-sided swingarm, contributing to its distinctive appearance. The C1 was a groundbreaking attempt by BMW to develop a new motorcycle segment, blending the best of both worlds. However, it faced several challenges that ultimately hindered its success. The C1's design was bulky and complex, making it heavier and less maneuverable than traditional scooters. The canopy, while offering protection, also added significantly to the vehicle's weight and compromised its overall handling dynamics. Additionally, the C1's price was higher than many comparable scooters, making it less attractive to the target audience. Despite its innovative design and safety features, the C1's limited production run and relatively high price ultimately led to its discontinuation in 2003.
