Ford C-Max Electric diagram
This comprehensive electrical diagrams manual for the Ford C-Max Electric provides detailed illustrations and explanations of the vehicle's electrical systems. It covers a wide range of components, including the fuse box, starting and charging systems, engine cooling fan, heating system, horn, reverse lights, headlights, warning lights, and fog lights. With this manual, you can gain a thorough understanding of the C-Max Electric's electrical architecture, making it easier to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and enhance your overall understanding of the vehicle.

The Ford C-Max Electric, a pioneering electric vehicle launched in 2012, represented a significant step forward in Ford's commitment to sustainable transportation. While not as well-known as its gasoline-powered counterpart, the C-Max Electric offered a compelling proposition for environmentally conscious drivers seeking a practical and efficient electric car. Built on the platform of the popular Ford C-Max, the electric version retained its spacious interior and versatile seating configurations, making it an ideal choice for families or individuals seeking a comfortable and roomy electric vehicle.

The heart of the C-Max Electric system was a 23 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, powering a 117-horsepower electric motor. This combination yielded an impressive range of 62 miles on a single charge, a respectable figure for early electric vehicles. Its regenerative braking system further enhanced efficiency by capturing energy during deceleration, extending the vehicle's range. While the C-Max Electric's charging time was relatively long, taking around 7 hours for a full charge using a standard 120-volt outlet, it showcased the early stage of electric vehicle technology. Despite its strengths, the C-Max Electric faced a number of challenges, primarily its limited range and the relatively high price compared to gasoline-powered vehicles. Ultimately, it was discontinued in 2018, paving the way for Ford's future electric vehicle offerings, such as the Mustang Mach-E, which have significantly improved range, performance, and affordability.
