‘08 Pontiac G5 2008 Owners Manual
This comprehensive owner's manual for the 2008 Pontiac G5 provides a detailed guide to operating and maintaining your vehicle. It covers everything from basic driving controls and convenience features to advanced systems and troubleshooting tips. You'll find clear instructions on using the vehicle's various systems, including the audio system, climate control, and safety features. The manual also includes important information about routine maintenance, vehicle care, and emergency procedures, ensuring you have everything you need to keep your G5 running smoothly and safely.

The 2008 Pontiac G5 was a compact sedan offered by General Motors during the 2007 and 2008 model years. It was a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Cobalt, sharing its platform and powertrains. The G5 aimed to attract younger buyers with its sporty styling, compact size, and relatively affordable price point. It was available in three trim levels: Base, GT, and GT Sport. The G5 was powered by a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine producing 148 horsepower, while the GT and GT Sport models featured a more powerful 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine generating 171 horsepower. All G5 models came standard with a five-speed manual transmission, with a four-speed automatic transmission available as an option.

The G5 was known for its comfortable interior, spacious cabin, and a decent amount of cargo space. It offered a number of standard features, including power windows, power locks, air conditioning, and a basic AM/FM stereo system. Available options included leather upholstery, a sunroof, a premium sound system, and a navigation system. Although the G5 was lauded for its affordability and feature set, it also received criticism for its somewhat bland styling and unexceptional handling. Ultimately, its sales were hampered by the emergence of cheaper and more fuel-efficient vehicles from Asian car manufacturers, leading to its discontinuation in 2008. The G5 was replaced by the Pontiac G6, a larger mid-size sedan, but Pontiac itself was discontinued in 2010 as part of General Motors' restructuring efforts.
