The Ferrari 458 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car produced by Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari from 2010 to 2015. It replaced the Ferrari F430 as the entry-level model in the Ferrari range. The 458 was available in two variants: the 458 Italia and the 458 Spider. The Italia was a coupe, while the Spider was a convertible with a retractable hardtop. Both variants were powered by a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, producing 562 hp (419 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 398 lb⋅ft (540 N⋅m) of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine was mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which was described as being extremely fast and precise.

The Ferrari 458 was praised by critics for its performance, handling, and styling. It was one of the fastest production cars in the world at the time of its release, with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h) and a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds. The 458 Italia was also notable for its futuristic design, which was inspired by the Ferrari FXX experimental race car. The 458 Italia was replaced by the Ferrari 488 in 2015. However, the 458 remained a popular and desirable car, with a strong following among enthusiasts. The 458 was also used in a number of video games, including Forza Horizon 4 and Gran Turismo Sport.
