The Chevrolet HHR, short for "HHR" (Heritage High Roof), was a compact car produced by Chevrolet from 2006 to 2011. It was a unique blend of retro styling and modern technology aimed at attracting younger buyers and those seeking a more distinctive and functional vehicle. The HHR shared its platform with the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky, but its design was inspired by the 1949 Chevrolet Suburban. Its boxy appearance, with its squared-off body, high roofline, and prominent vertical grille, was reminiscent of classic American station wagons and panel vans. The HHR was available in various trim levels, including the base LS, mid-range LT, and top-of-the-line SS.

The HHR offered a choice of two four-cylinder engines, a 2.2-liter Ecotec engine producing 149 horsepower and a 2.4-liter Ecotec engine generating 172 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission was standard, while a four-speed automatic was optional. The HHR's interior was designed with practicality in mind, featuring ample cargo space and versatility. The rear seats folded flat, increasing the cargo area, while the high roofline allowed for greater headroom. In addition to its distinctive style, the HHR offered a range of features, including air conditioning, power windows and locks, a CD player, and a variety of optional safety features. The Chevrolet HHR was a popular choice for its unique styling, practicality, and affordability. However, its fuel efficiency was criticized, and the model faced competition from more modern competitors. Ultimately, the HHR was discontinued in 2011 as Chevrolet shifted its focus to other models.
