This comprehensive Dodge Stratus 1995 Full Service Repair Manual provides a wealth of detailed information for every aspect of your vehicle's maintenance, repair, rebuilding, refurbishment, or restoration. You'll find everything you need to get the job done right, from basic troubleshooting to complex engine overhauls. The manual covers all systems of your Dodge Stratus, including the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical system, and more. It includes detailed diagrams, clear instructions, and helpful tips to ensure a successful repair experience.

The 1995 Dodge Stratus was a mid-size sedan that marked a departure from Dodge's traditional truck-focused lineup, aiming to capture a larger share of the growing family car market. Launched as part of the Chrysler Corporation's "cab-forward" design philosophy, the Stratus adopted a more aerodynamic and spacious interior compared to its predecessors. This design philosophy was heavily influenced by the success of the Chrysler Concorde, which also featured a forward-shifted cabin for enhanced passenger comfort and interior room. While the Stratus shared its platform with the Plymouth Breeze and the Chrysler Cirrus, its styling was distinctive, sporting a bolder, more aggressive front end with a prominent grille and sculpted hood. Available in both a 4-door sedan and a 2-door coupe configuration, the Stratus offered a choice of two engines: a 2.0L four-cylinder engine producing 132 horsepower or a 2.5L V6 engine generating 160 horsepower, paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. The Stratus also featured a relatively comfortable interior with generous legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, along with a range of available features, including air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM cassette player. The 1995 Dodge Stratus was known for its practicality and affordability, making it a popular choice for families and budget-conscious buyers. Although it didn't quite achieve the same critical acclaim as its Chrysler counterpart, the Stratus offered reliable transportation with a comfortable and spacious interior. For its time, the Stratus was lauded for its fuel efficiency, comfortable ride, and decent handling, making it a compelling option in the competitive mid-size sedan segment. However, the Stratus also faced criticism for its somewhat flimsy build quality and lackluster performance, particularly when compared to its Japanese and European rivals. Despite these shortcomings, the 1995 Dodge Stratus carved out a niche in the market, achieving decent sales figures. The model underwent a major redesign in 1999, boasting a more modern and refined design, and continued to be produced until 2006, solidifying its place as a long-running and popular mid-size car for Dodge.
