2007 Ford Freestyle Service And Repair Manual
This comprehensive 2007 Ford Freestyle Service and Repair Manual provides detailed instructions and specifications for maintaining and repairing your vehicle. The manual covers a wide range of topics, from routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations to more complex repairs involving the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. You'll find detailed diagrams, illustrations, and step-by-step procedures to help you troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and keep your Freestyle running smoothly. The manual is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to both professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts. With its thorough coverage and easy-to-follow instructions, this manual is an essential resource for anyone who wants to keep their 2007 Ford Freestyle in top condition.

The 2007 Ford Freestyle was a unique and somewhat controversial offering in the SUV segment. It was a crossover vehicle that blended elements of a station wagon, minivan, and SUV, resulting in a spacious and versatile vehicle. However, its unusual exterior design and handling characteristics, which some found to be somewhat awkward, did not earn it universal acclaim. Despite its unconventional features, the Freestyle aimed to provide a comfortable and well-equipped driving experience. It offered seating for up to seven passengers, featuring a second-row bench seat that easily folded to create more cargo space, and a third-row that folded flat into the floor. Power came from a 3.0L V6 engine producing 207 horsepower, paired with either a 4-speed automatic or 6-speed automatic transmission, depending on the trim level.

The 2007 Freestyle was available in two trim levels: SE and SEL. Both trims offered standard features like air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise control, and a CD player. The SEL trim added features such as leather seats, a power sunroof, heated front seats, and a premium sound system. The Freestyle also had a few notable safety features. These included anti-lock brakes, stability control, and six airbags. However, its safety ratings were not particularly high, with the IIHS giving it an "Acceptable" score in frontal crash tests and the NHTSA giving it a four-star rating in frontal crash tests. Despite its initial promise, the Freestyle failed to achieve mainstream success. Its unique design and moderate fuel economy were not enough to overcome the perception that it was somewhat bland and lacked the off-road capabilities of traditional SUVs. It was discontinued after the 2007 model year, leaving a unique mark on the automotive landscape.
