The Mitsubishi Magna Verada was a luxurious mid-size sedan produced by Mitsubishi Motors for the Australian market. It was a derivative of the Mitsubishi Magna, offering additional features and a more upscale interior. The Verada debuted in 1993, replacing the previous Sigma model. The first generation, known as the "VR," featured a distinctive grille with a chrome bar and integrated fog lights. It offered a range of engines, including the 2.6-liter 4G63 four-cylinder, the 3.0-liter 6G72 V6, and the 3.5-liter 6G74 V6. The Verada was known for its comfortable ride, spacious interior, and relatively generous equipment levels, including standard features like power windows, power steering, air conditioning, and an optional sunroof.

The Verada underwent a major redesign in 1998, introducing the "VS" generation. This model received a more aerodynamic exterior design, a revised interior with higher-quality materials, and new engine options, including the 3.5-liter 6G74 V6 with Variable Valve Timing (MIVEC) and a turbocharged version of the 3.8-liter 6G75 V6. The Verada continued to offer luxurious features like leather upholstery, wood trim, a premium sound system, and later generations even offered navigation and a rear-screen entertainment system. The model ultimately disappeared from the Australian market in 2005, with the introduction of the Mitsubishi 380. The Verada was a well-received model in its segment, known for its comfort, practicality, and luxurious appeal, making it a popular choice for Australian families and executives.
