Explore the intricacies of its design, performance, and engineering with clarity and precision. Within these pages, you'll find detailed information on the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and all other components that contribute to the 328's exceptional driving experience. Discover the technical nuances that define this legendary vehicle, making it a prized possession for enthusiasts worldwide.

The Ferrari 328, produced from 1985 to 1989, marked a significant step forward for the Italian marque. It was a direct successor to the highly successful Ferrari 308, inheriting its mid-engined layout and sleek, wedge-shaped design. The 328, however, brought several notable upgrades. Most notably, it received a larger, 3.2-liter V8 engine, derived from the Ferrari 308 GTE, that produced a potent 270 horsepower. This increase in displacement and power made the 328 a more spirited performer compared to its predecessor, offering quicker acceleration and a higher top speed. The 328 also featured a revised suspension with independent double wishbones at all four corners, enhancing handling and ride quality. While retaining the classic Pininfarina design, the 328 received updates to its bodywork, including new front and rear bumpers, a revised rear spoiler, and a redesigned dashboard. The 328 was available in two versions: the 328 GTB, a closed coupe, and the 328 GTS, a targa-top convertible featuring a removable roof panel. The Ferrari 328 quickly gained a reputation for its balance of performance, luxury, and style. It offered an exhilarating driving experience, combining the iconic Ferrari sound and handling with a relatively practical and comfortable interior. The 328's lightweight construction and powerful engine made it a true sports car, capable of reaching 0-60 mph in just under 6 seconds and reaching a top speed exceeding 155 mph. However, unlike some of its predecessors, the 328 was also surprisingly easy to drive on a daily basis. Its well-sorted suspension provided a comfortable ride, while its relatively compact dimensions made it surprisingly maneuverable in urban environments. The 328's production run was relatively short, with only around 6,000 examples produced during its four-year lifespan. Despite its limited production, the 328 remains a highly sought-after classic Ferrari, appreciated for its timeless design, sporty performance, and captivating presence.
