DAEWOO KORAndO CAR Service & Repair Manual-
This comprehensive service and repair manual provides in-depth technical information for the Daewoo Korando car. It covers a wide range of topics including engine repair, transmission maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting, bodywork, and more. The manual includes detailed diagrams, step-by-step instructions, and troubleshooting tips to guide you through various repairs and maintenance procedures. Whether you're a professional mechanic or a DIY enthusiast, this manual is an essential resource for keeping your Daewoo Korando running smoothly.

The Daewoo Korando, a compact SUV first introduced in 1983, was a pioneer in its segment, boasting a rugged design and off-road capabilities that made it popular among adventurers and utility vehicle enthusiasts. The name "Korando" is a portmanteau of "Korea" and "Road," signifying the car's Korean origins and its intended purpose as a capable off-road vehicle. The first generation was a boxy, utilitarian design, featuring a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a four-wheel-drive system. It was later followed by a second generation in 1996, which saw a more rounded and modern design, alongside improved comfort and refinement. The Korando was marketed in several international markets, including Europe, the Middle East, and South America, contributing to its somewhat cult status among enthusiasts.

However, Daewoo, the original manufacturer, faced financial difficulties and was ultimately acquired by General Motors in the late 1990s. This led to the discontinuation of the Korando nameplate in 2006. While the Korando disappeared from the market for a few years, it was revived in 2010 by SsangYong Motor, which had become a subsidiary of Daewoo in 1998. The new Korando, now under SsangYong, underwent a complete redesign, embracing a more modern and stylish aesthetic. It featured a range of engine options, including gasoline and diesel engines, along with a more advanced four-wheel-drive system. The Korando continued to be marketed globally, gaining traction in various countries, including Europe, Russia, and Asia. While the Daewoo Korando may be a vehicle of the past, its legacy continues to be felt through its successor, the SsangYong Korando.
