BMW C1 125 2000-2003 Repair Service Manual
This comprehensive repair service manual provides detailed instructions and technical specifications for the BMW C1 125 model years 2000 through 2003. Designed for professional technicians, this manual covers all aspects of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for this unique motorcycle. From routine service procedures to complex engine and transmission overhauls, this manual offers in-depth information and clear diagrams, ensuring you have the resources you need to confidently tackle any repair challenge.

The BMW C1 125, produced from 2000 to 2003, was a unique and innovative motorcycle that attempted to bridge the gap between traditional two-wheeled motorcycles and scooters. This model, designed by BMW Motorrad, featured a bodywork design that resembled a car's, offering riders a more enclosed and protected experience compared to traditional motorcycles. The C1 125 was a lightweight and compact vehicle, powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke engine that produced 11 horsepower. This engine, paired with a CVT transmission, provided smooth and effortless acceleration, making it an ideal choice for urban commuting.

The C1 125's unique selling proposition was its innovative design, which included a large, transparent canopy that offered protection from the elements. This canopy could be retracted, allowing for a more open-air riding experience. The C1 125 also featured a "car-like" design, with a large windscreen, integrated side mirrors, and a comfortable seat. Its small size and impressive fuel economy made it ideal for maneuvering through congested city streets. However, despite its innovative design and practical features, the C1 125 faced a number of challenges. The C1 was criticised for its high cost compared to traditional scooters, its limited performance, and its unconventional design. Despite initial positive reviews, the C1 125 was eventually discontinued by BMW, ending its short but intriguing foray into the world of enclosed motorcycles.
