The Suzuki Equator was a mid-size pickup truck that was produced by Suzuki from 2009 to 2011. It was a rebadged version of the Nissan Frontier, which was also sold under the brand of the Nissan Navara. While it shared the same underpinnings and powertrain with its Nissan counterpart, the Equator sport a distinctive front end, a more refined interior, and a unique set of features. The Equator was available in both extended cab and crew cab configurations, and offered a choice of two engines: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 152 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque, and a more powerful 4.0-liter V6 that generated 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. The Equator was offered with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission, and it had a maximum payload capacity of 1,450 pounds.

Despite its similarities to the Nissan Frontier, the Suzuki Equator failed to make a significant dent in the mid-size pickup truck market. The Equator was critically acclaimed for its off-road capabilities, comfortable ride, and fuel efficiency, but it was hampered by a lack of brand recognition and a limited dealer network. In addition, the Equator's sales were further hampered by the global financial crisis of 2008, which negatively impacted the sales of all pickup trucks. As a result, Suzuki discontinued the Equator in 2011, after only two years of production. The Suzuki Equator Factory Workshop Service Repair Manual was a valuable resource for mechanics and technicians who worked on this pickup truck. It provided detailed information on everything from engine repair to bodywork, and it was an essential tool for anyone who wanted to maintain their Equator in top shape.
