The SSANGYONG DAEWOO MUSSO was a mid-size SUV produced by the South Korean automaker SsangYong Motor from 1993 to 2005. It was originally marketed as the *Daewoo Musso* until SsangYong acquired Daewoo's automotive division in 2002. The Musso was the first Korean-designed and manufactured SUV to be exported to Europe and offered a unique combination of ruggedness, off-road capability, and relatively affordable price. It was available with a choice of 2.3L and 2.9L Mercedes-Benz sourced diesel engines, as well as a 3.2L petrol V6 engine. Power was sent to the rear wheels, while a part-time four-wheel drive system was optional. The Musso's design drew inspiration from the Jeep Cherokee and featured a boxy shape and a high ground clearance, contributing to its rugged look and practicality. The interior was spacious for its time, offering ample seating for five passengers and a generous cargo area behind the rear seats.

Despite its popularity in some markets, the Musso faced stiff competition from established SUV manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. The model was eventually replaced by the SsangYong Rexton in 2001, but the Musso remained in production until 2005, primarily for export markets. While the Musso is no longer in production, it left a mark on the Korean automotive industry as a pioneer in the SUV segment and a testament to SsangYong's early engineering prowess. This robust vehicle continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many owners, who appreciate its durability, off-road capabilities, and unique character. The SSANGYONG DAEWOO MUSSO Service Repair Workshop Manual is a valuable resource for anyone who owns or maintains this classic Korean SUV, offering detailed technical information and repair procedures to keep their Musso running smoothly for many years to come.
