Suzuki EQUATOR 2009-2010 Factory Service Repair Manual
The Suzuki Equator 2009-2010 Factory Service Repair Manual is a comprehensive guide designed to provide technicians and DIY enthusiasts with detailed instructions and specifications for repairing and maintaining the vehicle. It covers a wide range of topics, including engine overhaul and rebuilding, brake system repair, sunroof maintenance, timing belt replacement, troubleshooting and diagnostics, engine performance optimization, front-end procedures and specifications, suspension repair, transmission information, air conditioning service and capacities, computer diagnostic codes, firing orders, detailed specifications, factory maintenance schedules and charts, serpentine belt routings with diagrams, timing belt service procedures, driving concerns, complete torque specifications, U-joint and CV-joint service procedures, repair procedures, complete wiring diagrams, and hundreds of illustrations. This manual is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to perform professional-level repairs on their Suzuki Equator.

The Suzuki Equator, produced from 2009 to 2010, was a mid-size pickup truck that marked Suzuki's foray into the American pickup truck market. It was essentially a rebadged Nissan Frontier, built on the same platform and employing the same powertrain options. The Equator was available in two trim levels: Base and Sport. The Base model came standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the Sport trim featured a more powerful 4.0-liter V6. Both engines were paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic. The Equator offered a choice of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, catering to different needs and driving conditions.

Despite sharing its underpinnings with the Nissan Frontier, the Equator attempted to differentiate itself with a more aggressive styling, featuring a prominent chrome grille, muscular fender flares, and distinctive taillights. The interior also received some Suzuki-specific styling, with a unique dashboard and upholstery. However, the truck's core mechanical components remained essentially identical to the Frontier. While the Equator offered a capable and reliable package, it struggled to gain traction in the competitive American pickup truck market. Ultimately, its lack of brand recognition and limited availability in the US hampered its success. The Equator was discontinued after the 2010 model year, leaving Suzuki's North American lineup without a pickup truck offering.
