The SSANGYONG DAEWOO MUSSO, also simply known as the Musso, was a mid-size SUV produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturer SsangYong Motor from 1993 to 2005. Originally marketed as the "SSANGYONG MUSSO", it was later rebranded as "DAEWOO MUSSO" following Daewoo's acquisition of SsangYong in 1997. The Musso was a groundbreaking vehicle for its time, featuring a robust ladder frame chassis, powerful diesel engines, and a spacious interior. It was available in both wagon and pickup truck body styles, catering to a wide range of needs from family transport to commercial use. The Musso's rugged design and off-road capabilities made it a popular choice in South Korea and several other international markets.

The Musso came equipped with a range of gasoline and diesel engines, with the most popular being the 2.3-liter Mercedes-Benz OM601 diesel engine. This engine provided ample power and torque, making the Musso well-suited for towing and carrying heavy loads. The Musso also featured a range of transmissions, including a 5-speed manual, a 4-speed automatic, and a 5-speed manual with a low-range transfer case for enhanced off-road performance. While it offered modern features like power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning, the Musso was known for its rugged and functional design, focusing on practicality over luxurious amenities. Although production of the original Musso ended in 2005, its legacy continues to be felt, as its durable underpinnings and off-road capability contributed to the success of its successor, the SsangYong Rexton.
