FOREWORD
This Service Manual is a combination of the DS7 and R5C Service Manuals originally printed in
Japan, September 1972. In essence, it is the R5C Service Manual with appropriate additions
for models DS7, R D250, and R D350.
All of these models are essentially the same with the R5‘s having an increase in bore to account
for the larger displacement. Accordingly, the major parts differences between these two models
is within those parts affected by the overbore.
Additionally, due to the R5‘s higher performance, it has been equipped with a different
primary ratio and larger rear tire. Additional information can be found in the specifications
section.
